Welcome to the Department of Land Use & Transportation Planning Work Program 2023-25!

For the first time, our Work Program will span two years. As most of our planning work takes longer than one year, it makes sense to extend the program to two years. This will allow us to assign our staff and budget more efficiently.

We have also organized the draft work program into four themes to sort our projects by the County's goals and policy direction.

  1. Housing Production and Affordability
  2. Natural Resources, Climate Change
  3. Multimodal Transportation Planning
  4. Plan and Development Code Updates

Please review all the tables, then share your thoughts on the Table 8: What do you think?. We will share a summary of all comments received with the Washington County Board of Commissioners. If you would like your specific comments to be considered as testimony and shared with the Board, please provide your email in response to Question 12.
