Housing development/affordability
- Update the County’s Community Development Code (CDC) to encourage development of more housing types
- Improve housing affordability by reducing barriers and supporting more housing construction
- Address recent legislative changes (Required by state regulation)
Community Development Code audit
- Assess the CDC’s structure and function
- Identify opportunities to simplify, improve usability and reduce barriers to housing development
Issue paper on rural housing options
- Review state legislation adopted and currently being considered that addresses rural housing options, including Accessory Dwelling Units
